Bullying is a Soul Destroyer...!

Below is my international press release and do read what I have wrote at the end too....!

CANTERBURY, New Zealand – Author Ruth Anne Caukwell suffered a soul-destroying period of adult bullying through which time, support and writing helped her endure. Bullying is a Soul Destroyer...!
Bullying is everywhere in society and affects people from a young age right through to the elderly - it is NOT just a childhood happening as many ADULTS have and are suffering at the hands of BULLIES!
Bullying comes in all shapes and sizes and in many forms:- verbal, physical, mental, silence and even just a look!
Bullying is done by all sorts of people:- work colleagues, family, friends, groups of people and even strangers!
Bullying occurs for many, many different reasons:- jealousy, hatred, anger, inadequacy, self-esteem (high or low), punishment, unawareness and, power and control...!
Bullying has many levels and can be:- blatant, subtle, in-your-face, underhanded and sneakily done, a 'one-off' or continuous occurrence, but in whatever form it takes Bullying is SOUL DESTROYING...
B = Brutal! 
Bullying is brutal because it involves the destruction of a person's confidence, self-esteem, freedom and rights to be who they really are!
U = Ugliness!
Bullying is ugly because it shows the dark side of human nature - a lack of respect and sadly the need for 'one-or-more persons' to hurt and bring another down!
L = Leverage!
Bullying is leverage because it falsely gives 'one-or-more persons' the illusion that they are better than another... it, in their eyes, gives them the 'power' and 'control'! 
L = Loneliness!
Bullying  is loneliness as it isolates the 'one' from the 'others'... it sets up many false self-beliefs as it destroys an individuals very essence...!
Y - Yielding!
Bullying is a yielding, as it demonstrates the surrender of the'one-or-more persons' to their baser, hurtful instincts - kindness, respect, honour and love become overshadowed as they yield and succumb...to the darker aspects of their character!
I = Isolation
Bullying is isolation for both the victim and the perpetrator/s as:-
- the 'one' becomes isolated from who they really are in the belief that they are a lesser person and... a nothing!
- likewise with the 'one-or-more persons' for they become isolated as, deeper and deeper, they fall within the shadow of the power and control that bullying seemingly brings!
N = Nameless
Bullying is about being nameless for both the victim and the perpetrator/s as:-
- the 'one' gradually loses their name and identity becoming just the 'object' for abuse!
- likewise with the 'one-or-more persons' as they too loose their name and identity becoming just the cause of both hurt and pain!
G = Gag
Bullying becomes a gag upon which to silence an individual... their hopes, dreams, laughter and their... very existence!
It leaves instead ... a hollow shell!

Bullying is SOUL DESTROYING, but have hope as you can, and MUST, rise above it for... YOU are worth it!

My message to all who read this is this - if you are being bullied in some way, whether blatant or subtly...
bullying is NOT OKAY and you are worth so much more!  
You are precious and deserve to be who you are, so please seek help NOW! Hold out your hand, talk to someone and work together to break away from this soul-destroying cycle of abuse - I have done it and others have, so, you can too!

Just as the night will herald in the day...
After every storm cloud that rolls across your sky,
there is left a clear blue vista for your eyes to look to, so...
know that through cold, harsh, dark and stormy times there waits the calm.
All you need to do is to look with eyes that see, reach out and grasp it with both of your hands'
